The beer dive at Edmonds is a SeaHorse tradition that goes back many years.  This week we had 22 people show up, with eight of them divers to chase down the wily beer bottles.  Visibility was spectacular so one person free-dived for the beer as it was visible from the surface snorkeling.  See the photos by Adam Merritt.

From the count, we left 3 bottle in the drink for others to find and be surprised.  Winning beer gathers were Randy Pedersen with 13, Todd Osborne with 10, and Ed Gullekson with 8.  Of course after we got out the bottles were redistributed so everyone took some home.  After the beer chasing we had a beach picnic of hot dogs, chips and cookies.  Dave Seets, the organizer, did a wonderful job making it a very fun evening.

Next month, August 27th, is the Wine Dive at Alki, see you there!
