The indoor program for April was professional photographer Stu Westmorland.  Stu, a former Boeing Employee and Sea Horse member, was inspired by a photo show that he saw at a Sea Horse Club meeting.  He said that the photos there spurred him on to learn about and perfect his own photographic skills.  Five years later, in 1992, he left Boeing and went out as a professional photographer, and has been doing that ever since.  Stu has a brand new book of Seattle images and members bought a few signed copies at the meeting.  You can find his new book online at
The show was put together special for our club session.  It included local as well as images from around the world.  Some were taken in the first years of Stu's photo career and some were shot as recently as the last few months.  We were captivated for the entire show.  Stu was asked where he wanted to go that he has not yet gone and he said Antarctica.  He said his favorite sharks are hammerheads and that he has yet to see a thresher shark.
It was a fun and entertaining evening for the 15 Sea Horses that attended.
