Cove 2 Dive Report

We caught the rain tonight at Cove 2, but it didn't stop a great dive.  Ron Opp and Ed Gullekson met to dive, but we both had to fight through traffic to get there.

We suited up in the rain and it was worth it.  Vis was GREAT - 35 feet or so.  It was one of those dives ar Cove 2 where you say - "Wow, I didn't know that was so close to that!"  Or " I didn't know that if I just turned left from here I would find that piling".  Oh you know what I mean, you could see everything.  Speaking of seeing, rockfish were out at the logs and rockpiles, one squat lobster, kelp greenling, ling, ratfish, and 2 juvenile decorated warbonnets (see my photo at https://picasaweb.google.com/107583838916398535432/EdGullekson02# ).  Lots of jellies out and some being caught by the sea anemones - slow death for a jelly.

Water temp is up to about 53, pretty warm for this early in the year.  Great dive all around.
