BIG Critter encounters in the Bahamas- Tigers and Hammers

You, your family and all of your diving friends are invited to this exciting presentation.  We’re welcoming club board members Randy Pedersen, JD Rowe & Dave Wakeley to show and tell all about their encounters with some of the coolest critters in the sea.  These Seahorse members have freshly returned, unscathed, from their unique experience and making their debut presentation.

Join us for photos, video and fantastic stories about shark diving in the Bahamas. The trip was offered by Shark Diver Magazine (WWW.sharkdivermag.com) and ran by their editor, Eli Martinez.

Our members spent several days living aboard an 86-foot x 26-foot beam ocean trawler shrimp boat that has since been converted into a pretty nice live-aboard. Their days were filled with diving and eating, getting up to 4 dives in a single day. Many of the sharks seen were Lemon, Nurse and Caribbean Reef but several large Tiger and Great Hammerheads made plenty of appearances as well.  Most of the diving was north of Grand Bahama but time was also spent off the island of Bimini, where the territory is primarily Hammerheads.

Come bring the entire family for some Pizza and enjoy an intimate evening with your fellow dive club members in a virtual shark dive!

The presenters will be available after the meeting to discuss more of your questions on Bahamas Shark Diving and on more specific details about their Adventure.

Non-hosted dinner at 6, Program at 7 PM.
