January Indoor Club meeting Highlights
We had a pretty full room for the first meeting of the calendar year. Initial items on the agenda were an update on sea star wasting disease and the NW Straits Initiative to remove derelict crab pots and nets from the Salish Sea. We talked about having a mini-workshop on photography/videography and about 5 people said they were interested. If you are interested in this workshop send me a PM or email. Some people had their membership renewal forms filled out and turned them in along with their dues for 2016.

The program was hosted by Randy Pedersen and George Barron. It was a travelogue for their trip to dive and tour south Florida and shark dive at Bimini, Bahamas. We got to see photos and videos of warm clear water, lots of fish and plenty of (especially) great hammerhead sharks. It was a wonderful reminder of the great adventures in warm water diving (almost as good as cold water - LOL). The February meeting will be on 2/25. Check the calendar to find out about the program.
