Special Guest: Al Schumer – Northwest Diving Institute

Please come join us as we welcome the owner of local dive center Northwest Diving Institute. Al is a PADI Course Director and TecRec/CCR Instructor Trainer with over 40 years diving experience. He holds Masters Degrees in International Finance and Computer Science, and was National Committee Chairman of the American Alpine Club. He is also a PADI Staff Instructor and a trained commercial diver at the Diver's Institute of Technology.

Ever wonder what it's like to be bent? This presentation on decompression sickness is for new and experienced divers alike. It is based on DAN and US Navy statistics and treatment protocols. It will also cover an actual case history from Truk Lagoon.
